Colors and Florals Are Having a Revival

Florals are back in a big way.
From Dries Van Noten to Dior, Bottega Veneta to Prada, florals have been making a strong appearance across the runways this fashion month. Rich colour, oversized blooms, intricate botanical details and floral textures are finding their way into everything from eveningwear to more unexpected silhouettes.
And the good news? We saw it coming.
Over the last few months, we’ve been introducing bold, bubbling florals to the Ophir Textile catalogue. We’ve watched the collection grow from delicate botanical details into richer, more expressive designs filled with colour and texture.
For October, we’ve added a new assortment of multicoloured floral fabrics to the catalogue. Think vibrant blooms, intricate sequin embroidery and beautifully layered textures, ready to become the starting point for something entirely your own.
Florals have always had a place in fashion. What changes is how they are interpreted.
This season, they feel bigger, more tactile and more confident.
We’ve gathered some of our newest additions below to inspire your next piece.
Have a look.
