OUR YEAR IN REVIEW
Dear Friends,
Happy New Year!! 🎉
One year ago as we bustled into a new year with excitement and anticipation, I penned my first public letter to you reviewing the year before and shared our goals for 2022. As it has become our standard practice to look back at our year in review, I wanted to start by saying Thank you for your support in 2022. We have experienced our best year yet and it is all thanks to you, our community, who have bought into our vision and supported us throughout the years
In 2022, we experienced growth in numbers, we launched Unlabeled by Ophir and released it’s first collection, we got featured in vogue, our dresses/fabrics graced global stages like The Tony Awards, CMA Awards, Euro Vision, Miss Continental Europe, Miss Teen USA and even movie premieres. That’s not all, we worked with renowned designers, developed customs panels and fabrics for various collections across all seasons in 2022. We created iconic pieces and worked with A list stylists to mention a few.
As committed in the last open letter, we relaunched our website that aided seamless transactions, we challenged ourselves creatively and released more innovative products such as the Malaika, Dracarys, Loewe e.t.c but 2022 was also a very rocky year with it’s downsides and our most challenging moment was some of our design getting imitated and plagiarised by fashion houses and vendors. This was a hard blow on our creativity and hardwork. Overall, it was a year of lessons and growth and I want to thank you once again for holding us together and championing us along the way. A successful 2022 was only possible because of YOU
As we embark on this new year, I want to reaffirm our commitment to creating innovative products with uncompromising standards and deliver excellent services and support to all our customers, brands and partners.
Wishing you a very successful year ahead, cheers 🥂
